Our district has joined Google Apps for Education providing each teacher and student a Google account with access to Google resources in an online collaborative learning environment.

I can:
  • log into the CMCSS Google Apps for Education domain and help students log into their student accounts;
  • upload existing documents to share and/or have online access from any computer with an Internet connection;
  • edit Google files and communicate with others editing simultaneously;
  • access Google Classroom to create classes, create assignments, pose questions, and make announcements; and
  • provide online feedback

Google Classroom

Google Classroom is a blended learning platform for schools that aims to simplify creating, distributing and grading assignments in a paperless way. Document types housed in Google Drive are easily added as resources or assignments in Google Classroom.

Login to Google
Access Classroom
Navigate to Class List
Log into our Google Class using the Join button at top right.
Discuss and complete Question, Announcement, Individual Assignment, Group Work Assignment
Model viewing, grading, feedback

As a Teacher

  • Students: Join code
  • About: Invite teachers, Share and group permanent resources
  • Stream: Assignments, Announcements, Questions, Newest on top
Streaming Tab
  • Add announcement
